Why is it taking a long time for Amazon to confirm the sales on the transaction page.

I had to wait until the next day for it to appear

If you mean pending orders, there are a few reasons - most likely Amazon is verifying or waiting for the payment to go through, another reason could be that multiple items in the order are being consolidated into one shipment to qualify for free shipping etc. This is a normal process and most pending orders turn into sales.

Amazon give customers a 30 minute window to cancel an order. If it’s more than 60 minutes it usually means there is an issue with the card used for payment.I find they time out in a week these days. It used to be a lot longer.
