Joining two existing listings in to one listing with variation

Hi has anyone joined two existing listing into one listing with the other as a variation? If so do you keep the reviews for both listings or do you loose the reviews for the one that is made the variation?

Could you post here the ASINs to see what kind of products would you like to merge into one listing?

If they are not duplicate listings, then I don’t see any reason why they should be merged to make one of them a variation of the other.

Hi, To do this you create 1 new listing (ASIN). This becomes the parent. You then add the existing products (ASINs) to the parent listing via the variation tab. The existing products become the ‘child’ You will need to create an attribute for the variation ie size, material etc.

If you do this, you will not lose your reviews for the individual products, and you can always delete the parent/break the link if you want to revert back. There is plenty of info on the help pages to guide you through this.
