New to Amazon - receiving emails in lots of European languages

My account was just verified yesterday and all of a sudden I am receiving duplicate emails in around 7 different European languages. I obviously must have chosen to sell in Europe as opposed to just the UK. My question is - do most UK sellers just sell in UK? Should I go ahead and change to just UK? Thanks for any advice.

Many sellers have ‘turned off’ selling outside the UK for now because of the complicated Brexit rules.
Did you sign up for all the EU marketplaces or just UK ?

You can also deactivate many of those emails in your settings.

Hi! I got the same issue. I signed up for the US yesterday, and I logged in today and found out Amazon auto enrolled me to the global market (13 marketplaces). I followed some post here, and I deactivated all unwanted marketplace and kept only US. If I do this, will Amazon charge me monthly fees (EU+JP)?

Hi. Go into settings (top right) then account settings. then listing status then you can deactivate all EU countries and keep only UK.
