Serial Number vs Transparency Code. Denied, Am I missing something?
I applied to sell "Used" under these 2 ASINS" B08N2ZW1JW & B09R6FJWWS but kept getting denied. I do not have the original packaging where the transparency code is found, but it clearly states that the serial number is ok. I keep sending the serial number and pointing this out to them but keep getting the same generic response. Am I missing something?
Thanks for your help.
Amazon approval request page:
You are requesting approval to list an ASIN that is Transparency enabled. Transparency enabled products have a bar code containing a serial number affixed to the packaging by the manufacturer. This can be available in the following formats. I. A 26 digit, alpha-numeric identifier beginning with AZ: or ZA: (e.g. AZ:L1Z2H38F4C5Q6R7E5K6Z1C2K3E; total length is 29 characters). This will be in the form of a 2D bar code with a “T” logo near it. II. A Serialised Global Trade Item Number or SGTIN (e.g. 0100376204200301214P1OZMT7D8B81EMF4WW4; total length is 38 characters). This will be in the form of a 2D bar code with a “T” logo near it. If you cannot find a 2D barcode with a “T” logo, look for a serial number barcode that is between 7-20 characters long. The serial number can be a 1D or 2D code and will likely include the pre-fix “SN”. The serial number will be applied to the same side of the packaging as the GTIN (UPC/EAN/ISBN) barcode
Document must meet the following requirements:
In order to list this ASIN, please send us 1 valid Transparency code or serial number. a. You can either take a picture of the Transparency code or serial number b. You can scan the code using a 2D barcode scanner or 2D data matrix barcode scanner mobile application and save it as a word file. Please submit the word file below.

No, it doesn’t.
More importantly, you’re missing the point of serial; numbers and transparency codes.
Let’s start with how are you sourcing your product.

What's the point of including it in the requirement? My inventory is 100% original. Where are they asking that question anyway? Or is it just you wondering?
That doesn’t say that a serial number will be okay. It says you can send it.

It can drive your patients crazy. Have you uploaded the transparency app to you phone? If not do that and then scan the bar code. You'll then get a group of numbers and that's what they need.
