"Oversized" FBA Box!
I’ve been using the same boxes since I started selling on FBA… just got an oversized box notification. It can only be 65cm on the longest side. I’d guess mine was 70cm at a push.
I’ve never even heard of this rule before. Is it a new thing?

BHX4 reported oversized box despite it being 60 cm (I always buy 60x60x60 cm boxes, so I am sure…). They attached some pictures but they only showed my box sitting on a pallet, that’s it.
The only thing I could do is to acknowledge the problem.

I sent a box to FBA earlier today that’s 74cm on the longest side (have sent this size a few times before). Now I’m worried! Shipped to EUK5 with UPS. Surely an error would of popped up when I entered the measurements whilst creating the shipping plan

Took a while to find but this link shows the official requirements. Seems I should not be using packing peanuts either

I wouldn’t mind knowing the best place to buy from too. I can get 610x610x610 double walled boxes for £3.41 each (with vat - pack of 100).

I want to share a funny conversation with you.
Is it me being stupid or what?
BHX4 marked my shipment as oversized again.
This time I refused to acknowledge this and wrote to CS.
This is the response I got:
"This is Kyle from Amazon FBA.
I do understand that you are concerned about acknowledging the problem on shipment FBA15C8KJ07K.
Please note that the problem exists as you have shipped a box which exceeds the standard size measurements of 45 cm or less on its longest side, 35 cm or less on its median side and 20 cm or less on its shortest side.
As you have stated that the box which you shipped is 60x60x60, this clearly exceeds the measurements about and therefore is classified as oversized. "
Did any of You know about 45x35x20 cm requirements?
They even redirected me to the page that says:
“Carton dimensions should not exceed 63.5 cm on any side, unless the dimension of a single deliverable unit exceeds 63.5 cm in itself.”
I do not get it.
