FBA Germany - Listing Issues

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m about to start selling in Germany (FBA). I created all of my listings using the ‘Build International Listings’ tool and the majority of them seem to have transferred over fine.

However, I’m missing a couple of listings (there should be no reason why the products can’t be sold in Germany) and also the Parent / Child variations don’t seem to have transferred over.

Does anyone have any experience of this and can help me fix this issue?

My account manager said to run the process again, as this usually clears these sorts of errors, but that hasn’t worked.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you,

Not all products will copy across successfully.
So the simple solution, is to simply recreate those products on the german site.
Then once setup, ensure that you use the same SKU so that they will map properly.

For the variations, you just need to knit them back together again.

And just for the record, your “Account manager”, isn’t an account manager, but a sales person, who doesn’t know what he is talking about. It’s very unlikely that running the tool again will fix these issues.

Thanks Neil.

So will I just re-create the parent SKU then re-add the child variations? Also, do you know if you can use the upload files to do this?

Haha yeah I figured  That’s why I thought I would get more help/sense on here.

I’ve managed to add new products…I’ll have a go at the variations next.

Good luck with your issues!! I’m glad I just started with one European country.
