Can you have express shipping option only?
Hi All.
We ship all orders out on next day to UK via UPS/UKMAIL - We do not use Royalmail etc.
For high value products it is FREE, for small value item we charge £5.95 for each order.
So I made 2 shipping groups -
FREE UK and Charge International &
£5.95 UK and INT Extra
So I have to put in a standard option, which is same value as express option and 1 day option.
When we look at FREE Shipping product it says FREE UK DELIVERY, then “Get is as soon as Thursday 18th” when you choose one day delivery in checkout, suggesting it may cost more, but it doesn’t.
So I want it to say “get it buy 18th Jan with Free Delivery” Like Get it Fast and Free…
When we look at £5.95 Shipping item, it says “Get is as soon as 18-20 Jan when you choose Express Delivery at Checkout” - Again suggesting it will cost more but it doesn’t.
Is it possible to make it this way? To only offer Express service?
It doesn’t seem to allow you to change transit time for Standard Shipping, default 2-3 days…
Any advice will be very appreciated.

Short answer is NO.
You must offer free, economy or standard delivery as part of your listing for all items.
Your service is better than the basic, but at the basic cost so you would have to highlight this in your listing detail, but you still have to offer the alternative methods even if it doesn’t make sense that any buyer would choose them.

There is a way to do this, it’s not perfect but it works. We offer free shipping over £50 but it wouldn’t show this on items under £50. To make this work, and look right, we kept the shipping template doing this and created a fake promotion which mirrors the information.
When you create the promotion, it then says Free delivery and if you hover over it you can add your own text to read what you like, so there is your chance to state next day is free.
