How to add variations when you do not have a Product ID number

Hi, I am trying to list an item without a product ID or GTIN. I selected the 'no Product ID' option on the Product details page, but when it gets to the 'Variations' page, it keeps asking for ID number for each variation added.

Please assist (New seller)
