Sharing merchant token

hello!
i’ve just registered registered for VAT in Germany and the company that helped me with this are asking if i can share my merchant token to help them with:
“We are applying for Amazon Service Provider Network so that we can advertise our VAT services on Amazon , they want a proof form us that we are already serving Amazon customers. And to do this we need to provide them Seller ID(Merchant Token) of few sellers”

is this safe? could i be in any trouble with amazon if i share this?
