Recommended browse nodes will be mandatory for product listings

Starting early December, the ‘Recommended browse nodes’ will be mandatory for all the listings created.

The attribute ‘Recommended browse nodes’ is required for new product listings, or any updates to existing product listings. Without the necessary information for this attribute, the product listings will not be accepted. This includes all product-level data submissions, whether through excel templates, Seller Central, or feeds.

What will happen in case we do not provide this information?

There will no impact on the existing listings, unless they are updated. If the required attributes for the new listing or updating existing listing are missing the listing will throw an error and will not be submitted or accepted.
