Selling Sex Toys
I have a business selling sex toys and would like to sell on Amazon. I appreciate that sellers must be invited but this has been the case since at least 2015 so far as I can see? As I’m already up and running I have stock, UPCs, tax registrations…etc but all to no avail. How are there so many sex toys for sale if it is a closed shop? Who controls the invites? - Somebody must! Has anyone at all any useful experience in this area? Any constructive suggestions would be welcome. Thank you in advance.

Is this a wind up given your name? If not then if you’ve applied and been declined it’s perhaps because Amazon want to see a good sales record on other asins to establish your credibility.

Not all of the Sex & Sensuality category is restricted, so depending on the size and breadth of your catalogue you may be able to list other products such that after a while Amazon invite you.

At least you have something to keep you occupied whilst waiting for the invite, try being stuck with 500 cauliflowers and not being able to get into groceries

I swear I had an invite for this category a good few years ago, could be up to 12 years ago, so much so that a (now ex) employee who had some knowledge in this field started looking into what we could buy in, just didn’t happen as the contact in China at the time got flustered with our enquiry.

I’ve just had a look and the only restriction appears to be that I cannot list as used!
