A client has requested an invoice for an order. Not sure what to do.
A client has just requested an invoice for a book he purchased from us (FBM) a few months ago. I'm not sure how to respond. This was not an FBA order. We ship directly from our warehouse.
The only document I believe I can generate is a packing slip, but that's not what he is asking for.
Can anyone offer me a suggestion?

Buyers can go to their orders and print an invoice. "View Invoice" is shown with every order, and you just have to print from that.
However you certainly ought to be able to provide an invoice to anyone who requests it.
If you use Amazon buy-shipping you probably will not longer have access to buyer's address so wouldn't be able to create an invoice.

Customers can download an invoice directly from their Amazon.com → orders page.
