Prior Refund Pending
I have had a customer who claims they have not received their item (£7.45) which was posted two weeks ago. (Strange, I’d have claimed earlier than two weeks), however, I went to issue a refund, however, it says “Prior Refund Pending” .
I’ve tried to issue the refund, however, the button won’t let me issue this. Any idea how to issue this refund?

Sounds like they put in an A-Z and won check your A-Z cases see if any have been lost by you recently.

Hi guys,
I am in a similar position and would like my fellow sellers to assist me.
The customer received the product they purchased and asked for a refund, the reason for the refund was he claimed the product was not new and not original. I assured the customer to check with the manufacturer on how the products are packaged and 100% these products are genuine. I offered pictures and invoice from the manufacturer. The customer did not reply. After a week I get an A-Z claim. At that point I emailed the customer again asking if he wants a refund please send the product back to us. The customer now says the product was damaged in transport to him (totally changed his story). His reason now is it is a defective product as the package was damaged and the product was a gift.
Amazon have now offered him a full refund without once offering to send the product back to us.
How do we protect ourselves from customers like this?
Many Thanks
