Charge method declining NatWest Mastercard
Hi
NatWest have just provided me with a new Mastercard debit card, apparently they have just moved from Visa.
I’ve had to therefore update my charge method with the new card details, but Amazon are declining it. I’ve spoken to NatWest and they have confirmed that there is no issue with the card, there are funds in the bank and it’s a problem with Amazon.
I’ve had to use my personal credit card details to gain access to the account as they are declining this new card.
Has anybody else had issues with NatWest as the charge method?

Have you used it yet? I seem to recall an issue (with debit cards in particular) that the first transaction needs to be physical and in person to activate the card before it can be used online/for Amazon?

Yes its been used to purchase stuff online, and I’ve used it with Google Pay a few times with no issues.
The bank have said it’s an issue with Amazon.
