Question about changing delivery times
Hi,
A few weeks ago we received an email from Amazon saying our delivery times were, on average, days faster than how they are presently being shown to our clients and possible clients. Amazon also provided us with our average delivery times which showed we really do need to change them, to reflect faster delivery times (despite the fact that we ship by media mail).
I cannot for the life of me find this email Amazon sent us.
In "Messages" or anywhere else in Seller Central Central is there an archive of the emails sent to us by Amazon? Before changing our estimated delivery times I'd like to see our actual average delivery times Amazon sent to us, which I can no longer locate. Otherwise, is this piece of information available in Seller Central somewhere?
Thanks to anyone who can help.
All my best,
Jim

I cannot help you find the email, but my advice is mostly to ignore it.
Don't ignore it completely because it may be an indicator that Amazon is going to tiptoe in there when you're not looking and change your default handling time or possibly even mess with your templates.
So -- check that default handling time. Make sure you do not allow automation for handling time or allow any automation on any of your shipping templates.
Most of us have received that email several times.
Most of us would rather under-promise and over-deliver. Amazon would have it the other way round so that buyers like it. Sellers are expendable. Easily replaced.

Hi @book_publisher
Thanks for the post. Looks like @bookwormapril pointed you in the right direction. Including a quick read on Manage your delivery time.
Best Regards
