"I have been approved to sell this product / brand. "
Approved by who/whom?
Are you confusing AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product?
Amazon might ungate you for a CATEGORY, but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.
AMAZON is only interested in FEES. They will allow a chimpanzee to list if it means they collect $$$$$.
Additionally, brands that you COULD sell yesterday may be restricted today or next week. Amazon is a moving target to deal with.
DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?
If you have an LOA that specifically says you can sell on Amazon you MIGHT survive listing items.
More and more brands are providing a "whitelist" of their approved sellers and if YOU are NOT on the list you will be stopped in your tracks and probably hit with an IP violation.
DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK? You DO have a sales rep at the brand, don't you?
There is immense confusion on Amazon about constitutes 'approval'.
If you have anything from the BRAND (not a distributor) does it specifically say you are permitted to sell ON AMAZON?
What @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApis trying to say is the Brand itself has to approve you to sell their product. You must have a Letter Of Authorization from the Brand Owner or a paper trail from your distributor that leads to their Letter Of Authorization. If you don't have either, you are not approved to sell that brand on amazon. Amazon will approve you to sell anything then throw you under the bus as soon as the brand owner tells them not to allow 3rd party sellers to sell their brand. As a fellow bookseller, I can genuinely tell you a lot of publishers are tightening up as far as who they allow to sell their books. We've gotten stuck in the crossfires a few times as well.
Also, respectfully, @Seller_kIukTwdhvntApis one of the best when it comes to giving advice in forums. I highly recommend you reread their comments. Likely, it will take you days to hear from a forums moderator, if you hear from one at all. Good luck.
Lol, no way! This forum member is giving help FOR FREE for years and he doesn't need to like his own comments! You are a new born new seller and should stay humble and be thankful for answers! His answer is a copy paste that he uses for each single time that exact same question is coming up: maybe ten times a day? And this answer is nothing than true. So take it or loose your account, your choice.
And for what reason should YOU be treated with such noblesse? Are you something special? 80% of all threads here in the forum remain without answer. But YOU - want and answer straight away from Amazon's CEO! Oh - I forgot, you are a DON! That explains anything!
Good Evening @Seller_2s3IlUA7CQabi,
Upon further investigation, of CASE ID 17214661341 I unable to locate an association to the brand (either through selling perms or brand registry perms) mentioned on the case in which you are trying to sell ASIN 1785044559 for.
At this time, the only way to be able to list this ASIN is to:
Those are the best recommendations I can provide to you at this time. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Have a good weekend.
