Manufacturer barcode or Amazon barcode
Hi, I have mi ASIN , I have FBA and I have brand registry. The product listing has an expiration date, it is a cosmetic, my preferences for barcode are set for manufacturer code. Amazon replied is good for stickerless., -Does this mean i can just send my product with the UPC manufacturer barcode printed in the box despite being a cosmetic or do i have to print labels with ASIN amazon barcode and cover the manufacturer barcode and change the preferences to amazon barcode (this way it wont be virtual tracking?). I would appreciate if you can assist me with this. Im confused with the product being a cosmetic but amazon allowing me to use manufacturer code. I want to be certain i must or nor print the ASIN barcode and stick it to the box covering the Manufacturer code which is the UPC. or just the leave box with UPC. What is the correct barcode to have in the box?

When you send in with manufacturer's UPC printed on box, Amazon needs 2 things to properly receive your products, 1 is the UPC, 2 is the Amazon label on the box to identify you.
When you send in with FNSKU, Amazon only needs 1 thing to identify both the product and you, which is FNSKU itself because it's an Amazon generated identifier specifically tied to both the product and the seller.
That is why Amazon usually prefer FNSKU over manufacturer's barcode.
Both ways will work, but there's difference. You can also have FNSKU printed on the box and have other barcodes covered up.

Yes, that is what it means.
Personally I strongly recommend you create a new SKU (don't delete the original) under Amazon Barcode.
Why? Each batch/expirey date should use a different SKU so you can be 100% sure that all of the expiring items are removed or sold and not mingled into the old stuff.

Yes. That is (i suspect) the SKU that was used to create the ASIN. It will have greater control over making changes if/when needed.
