Certified Bank Letter

Hi everyone, We have been going around in an endless loop with Amazon over them keep requesting a certified bank letter. We have provided them with numerous letters from the bank verifying the account details but they insist they are unable to certify (stamp) them due to remote working conditions. We have provided Amazon with letters from the bank themselves verifying this but they still keep droning on about uploading a certified bank letter. We are with Santander and would have thought that this would have been a simple verification but has been going on for weeks now and as the account is deactivated until resolved we are not only losing sales but they will not disburse any money. It is really frustrating that as soon as they deactivate an account for whatever reason, that they seem to remove all ways to contact them other than by the appeals process that they seem to take no notice of. Has anybody else had this issue and been able to resolve it?

That sounds like Santander being unhelpful. Their branches are still staffed and open by appointment, and presumably there must still be some staff working in their head offices who could find the rubber stamp and whack it on, even if it’s not in their normal job description

I am with santander and had a similar thing, the trick is to phone the business number and ask them for a letter and to stamp it before posting it to you.

the problem is (like many other banks nowadays) the branches don’t deal with “business accounts”
