Does Amazon really send automatically review request to buyers after transaction?

Hello, I don't want to violate any rule as an amazon seller, but I'm no sure if Amazon really send the review requests. I buy almost everything I need on amazon I have never received a review request directly from amazon, when I open the order the option to request a review is active but I'm afraid to do it because it's supposed that amazon can penalize you if you do that. Anyone having the same issue? Thanks

The link supplied on the order detail page -- the "request a review" link is the only safe, approved way to request a review. It will request both product review and seller feedback.

Amazon declares they send out requests. Mostly they don't. Doesn't matter -- the link is okay to use.

Hi @Seller_rHAsvanIOq55C

Amazon sellers can request product reviews from customers. I am linking you to the information in the help pages.

As @Seller_Hi7wbO2Kbo6blsaid, that help page says that Amazon requests reviews, however, as a buyer myself I don't recall seeing any such request when I order from a third party seller.
