New Listing Stuck in Draft Mode
Hi, Have been trying to add a new listing now (since the Draft functionality was implemented) and it does not move on to Inventory status.
It has a proper GTIN code, I have basically populated ALL fields in the advanced mode, added pictures.
It does not provide any RED remarks about missing information, but never the less it remains as a Draft and says listing missing information.
Has anyone else had problems with getting draft products to move into inventory status? Any tips or ideas highly appreciated. This has been going on for 4 weeks now and I am getting very frustrated and amazon support do not help me and my product is soon ready for shipment to warehouse and I can’t arrange the the shipment due to this.

I’ve been having similar problems lately. I had to close a lot of listings in November after my fulfilment warehouse unexpectedly closed down and I subsequently discovered it wasn’t so easy to relist them when I got sorted. As you say, there is nothing highlighted to give a clue what the problem is! I deleted from Drafts, waited a day or so and tried again. In some cases I have been successful by uploading larger images. In many cases I do see an indication that there is a problem with the browse node but when I edit this manually it is still not accepted.
I have had to resort to copying the relevant listings over from other marketplaces (using the Global Selling Tool.)
You should note that sometimes the product stays in Drafts even if it’s available in your inventory.

Hi, thanks for this thread I was looking for similar one for a long time.
Did you find any reasonable solution by yourself?
I got some answers from Support but none of them worked for me. New listings just don’t move from Drafts to Manage Inventory.
They advised me like this - delete SKU and try to Add again after 24 hours, use Upload File, Wizard, change category then delete and after 24 hours add again, always with the same result - back to Complete your drafts. No highlighted or red marks and says listing is missing information.
I was even trying do add few variations to existing variation family, but only some of them are in Manage Inventory, the rest is again in Drafts.
All of the products are our own brand and we’re the only ones selling them.
Thanks in advance to everybody for any help, I’m desperate

NOW finally after I don’t know how many tickets raised and chats performed I finally got an answer that actually worked and which may help you as well. The key problem was the ‘Brand Name’ field. As I do not have a registered brand but creating a new product to amazon I needed to fill in that field as part of the listing creation.
Now the information I had gotten from support was to put ‘N/A’ in the brand name field. That that did allow the listing to be saved without issues (and you don’t get and warning messages it just treats it as non relevant)but aparently that was also the reason it would not move from draft to inventory.
What I should have stated is ‘GENERIC’. I tried this and voilá it went into Inventory status after 15 min or so.
So if nothing else you could try this if your brand is not registered with Amazon:
Field Brand Name: Generic
Hope this helps!
