Urgent! Unable to complete adding a new product

I have been going round in circles with Amazon Seller Support… I have spoken to so many different call handlers and exchanged dozens of emails but not one has been able to resolve the issue for me.

After completing all the necessary information and clicking ‘save and finish’, the product (a book) is not listed but goes to ‘complete your drafts’. Here it shows two issues…

1. There is no record of the SKU corresponding to this update on your account. This commonly occurs when there are other issues on your SKU.

2. Listing requires additional information. Click “Edit draft” to continue.

I have deleted and attempted to re add the product a number of times but each time it is met with the same errors.

This book is scheduled for release on 26 October, 2021 and I am concerned that it won’t be listed in time.

A free signed copy for anyone that can resolve this for me.

Are you putting the release date as 26 October as I believe only amazon can list stock on pre release

Are you listing using the ISBN and is it listed on nielson ?

I am having the exact same issue adding my first product. and amazon seller support are frustratingly useless and actually giving me support.

My product has a GTIN exemption and im just going round in circles, editing the draft, re-inputting the language, saving then it just goes back to my drafts. Almost enough to put me off trying to sell on amazon all together with the lack of useful help the support tickets are giving me.

The actual books will be delivered to me from the printers on the 16th… Does that leave enough time for me to have them sent off to an Amazon Fulfilment centre and processed in time for someone to click buy on the 26th?

I have the exact same problem. Concluded after some ten days of incessant fully devoid of any meaning correspondence that Amazon is institutionalized sadism.

I had a similar problem - let me create the listing, saved fine but never appeared in the catalogue.
Same error codes as you - but the listings were complete - nothing missing and I was not doing anything different than I usually did. I spent around 4-5 days trying to add products, deleting and trying again.
I opened a few cases and got told I needed to add products via the upload file feed. I did this (after trial and error) and the listing was created - since then I have been able to add manually again with no issues.

I had exactly the same problem here in the UK. All of my new listings went straight to “drafts,” and when I went to “drafts” the problem was always flagged as “Language,” but no matter how many times I entered “English” in the “Language” box nothing happened and the problem remained.

It was only solved when Amazon redesigned the listings pages.
In fact, the problem only arose in the first place as a result of Amazon redesigning the listings pages and getting the programming wrong.
