How to package and send multi-pack items to Amazon FBA
I’m currently in the process of working on my first shipment to send stock onto Amazon FBA warehouses.
Amongst the items I want to sell are some branded products, that I have opted to sell in “multi-pack” listings like this 2-pack of teas…
All of my stock is currently held as individual units, so I just need to know the following…
- Do I have to sub-pack everything into the corresponding multi-packs I have listed on Amazon? For example, If I have chosen to list a herbal tea as a “2-pack” then must I join these 2 units together within my big shipping box or can I just bundle everything together in one big box and Amazon will sort out the bundles and multi-packs there end?
FYI - I have selected the option to pay Amazon extra to apply labels on my behalf, so will this service involve them arranging my stock into the respective multi-packs for me?
Many thanks in advance.

No - Amazon will not sort out your bundles. You will need to send them in exactly to match the listing and packed as you would want Amazon to send them out.

That’s correct, you need to package the items securely, just like you would like to have them shipped to the customers.
Amazon will not prepare the multipacks on your behalf.
In addition, you will need to place FNSKU barcodes on the top of each unit’s packaging.
