FBA Inventory reimbursement policy

Hi All, we received an email notifying us of the upcoming changes, due to take effect on the 10th of March, however I have not been able to find the IDR portal that is mentioned in the email. I have clicked on the links and followed the instructions but it does not appear under inventory or FAB fulfilment. We would like to enter our own manufacturing costs rather than have Amazon estimate them. Can anyone provide some guidance please.?

Hey @Seller_1JI4h7wjBZNbZ,

I'm not quite clear about your issue. Could you share the email you received (excluding any personal information)?

Thanks, Ezra

Hi @Seller_1JI4h7wjBZNbZ,

The Inventory Defect and Reimbursement (IDR) portal will be available in late January 2025. That’s where you’ll find the "Manage Your Manufacturing Cost" page to enter your own costs.

Once it’s live, go to Seller Central → Inventory → Inventory Defect and Reimbursement and look for the Manage Your Manufacturing Cost option. You can update your cost anytime, and if needed, Amazon may ask for proof (like invoices).

If you don’t enter a cost, Amazon will estimate one for you, but you can change it later.

Let us know if you need more help! Ezra
