How can I find out what it is that Amazon are accusing me off doing?
Hi Guys,
Just received the following message via Email:
Hello E-BARDEN,
We have found that your account has violated our communication guidelines. If this issue continues, we may deactivate your Amazon seller account. Required the following required actions.
Why did this happen?
We are taking this action because we've detected attempts to influence customers through our buyer-seller messaging system. Examples include requesting personal information, asking for review or feedback changes, or soliciting positive feedback.
I have not or ever solicited a customer to leave positive feedback and the message does not point to any particular message I have meant to have sent. If I go to the appeals page that does not point to anything either so how am I meant to defend myself?? This is yet another heavy-handed approach by Amazon having everyone walk around on eggshells!! Any MODS on here you can ask me to contact or is there an alternative to the appeals page? I just would like to know what it is I have done!
Appreciate any help.

I can't give you anymore than what the message you've received.
If you've said anything close to asking a customer for their email, phone number or directly asked them to give you positive feedback or asked them to change a review then that's what has flagged it.
Amazon's automated system has likely picked up something you've said, it's not ideal in the slightest but I'd just recommend avoiding saying anything remotely close to what they're suggesting you have done.

I had one of these also, all I wrote was that I had reported the customer for being rude (she told me to shut up) and I am the one ended up with one of these messages which was also a violation in my account health.
I just acknowledged it because any attempts to appeal just got auto rejected by the AI Robots that run Amazon now.
I do not in anyway condone there use of such threatening language in their messages and banners.

There is no way of finding out. You can speak to Account Health and they may be able to give you an indication, but they won't be specific. We had one of these and I only managed to track it down by searching my sent items for the word "feedback"; on the basis that it only came up once in 3 months I figured it was that one.
Suggest doing what we did (after advice from Account Health), appeal it stating that you have instructed all staff to adhere to the following policies (include the links in your appeal);
Amazon's Communication Guidance as shown at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/G1701?locale=en-US
and
Amazon's Customer Product Review Policy , as shown at https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/external/YRKB5RU3FS5TURN
Mention that the matter "is not a request for positive feedback, neither does it attempt to incentivise the removal of negative feedback in any way" (assuming it doesn't - if it does, you've probably got no case!), neither does it violate any terms of the Product Review Policy (again, assuming it doesn't).
They withdrew it inside of half an hour.

Have you ever discussed a review or buyer feedback with a buyer?
Have you ever asked for external contact details?
Have you ever had a customer who was happy and you've in any way suggested they leave feedback?
Do you include any slips or inserts with your orders?

Here you have given something to someone for free and asked for positive feedback in exchange. This will definitely be the problem.

Amazon is playing the "What's in my pocket?" game. Ridiculous. They should show you specifically as you are supposed to be partners! But the reality is they are bullies fleecing you for every penny!
