Stop Punishing Sellers for Wrong Returns!

Sellers on Amazon are losing money because of unfair return charges.

Let’s understand with a simple example:

You sell a product for ₹1000 (lets assume a mixer grinder)

Amazon charges ₹220 for shipping (because the item is big)

A buyer returns a wrong item — a tiny thing like a charger

Even though the returned item is small, Amazon still takes ₹220 as shipping charge from you.

Now let’s see what you get back:

Amazon gives you a refund of ₹600 as safety claim (because the return was wrong)

But they also cut ₹220 for shipping

So, you only get ₹380

Generally the product cost is higher than this because sellers keep minimum margin to sell their product in this tough competitive marketplace — even though it was not your fault!

This is unfair. Amazon should not charge full shipping fees when a wrong product is returned. Sellers need support, not losses!

PLease Be HAPPY atleast you got 380rs.

I sold NOT RETURNABLE category products. Customer complained ORDER NOT RECEIVED.

Customer support team deducted money from my account. So I lose Cost Price of Product + RETURN CHARGES + DELIVERY Charges.

SafeT claim wont work because products are NOT RETURNABLE.

wrong item lene se mna krne pr DC in charge aur courier boy account band krwane ki dhamki dete hai. Aur is wjh se 2 dino se pickup nhi uthaya gya hai mera. Mtlb seller bewakoof hai kya. Apke yaha is trh ke employee ko badawa dia jata hai. Gali se baat krte hai

many a times the returned item doesn't belong to us .we have been selling cutting boards and nearly three times we got other brand cutting boards and one time a screw driver set . Unknown about the wrong item we have been accepting the items . It's big loss for us

i used to sell non returnable item, buyer used it for 3-4 days and return that product is not working, along that item, 1 free item of rs 80. Now Amazon has refunded whole amount to the buyer and i have received that product which is working properly but without free item and whole charges come in favour of me. This is so wrong we as a sellers are using our hard earned money with less margins and we dont have any support

Buyers buy products without understanding the specifications and place return/replacement requests without valid proofs. Amazon accepts their wrong, unfair returns and expect sellers to bear the huge loss
