2 Orders should have been shipped on 15th August but that is a Bank Holiday here in France [where my business is registered with Amazon] so not possible
Will it do any good contacting them do you think?
I mean they might at least spot that I am aware of the problem and the cause

Were the sales on uk site ?
If so, they still needed dispatching as it was not a bank holiday here
Here in uk , if its a bank holiday, but not one in France, and we sell on .fr , we still have to despatch or put holiday settings on beforehand

Well thanks for your input but I think you basically confirmed that it is unlikely to of any point making a fuss

Hi everyone.
I’ve just recently logged into my Amazon account and was kind of worried to discover: Your account is at risk of deactivation - Your Late Dispatch Rate is 50% (the target is 4%)
Now technically I am to blame for this I THINK. I have had one or two sales recently, and due to reasons I will explain below, I dispatched the items (click on the button on the sent item page) a day late. So officially the items weren’t sent within the “ship by date” time automatically given by Amazon.
Now this I can understand Amazon doing, but I do rather contest due to the circumstances of these recent sales and frankly Amazon’s overall system (no surprise there ).
You see, the items had been ordered late in the evening the previous day (I checked my emails for sales the next morning). Yet Amazon only gave me less than a day to prepare + send the items (within the automatic “ship by date” time limit). I thought sellers prep-time-for-items (before sending) was allowed to be up to about 2 days? Also, I am just a small “fulfilled by merchant” marketplace seller, selling only within the UK, and am not offering first class speed dispatching or whatever.
I consider it really unfair that I am getting penalized by Amazon because of this. While I do accept that buyers should get their items as quickly as possible, Amazon barely gave me enough to prepare the items. And for that matter they didn’t give much time for the buyers either - in case they wanted to cancel before the items were sent! It feels like Amazon want sellers to send their stuff within literal seconds of buyers purchases!
Well anyway, now I have the dreaded Your account is at risk of deactivation warning, can anyone tell me, will it go away in about a months time and return me to under 4%?
