UAE company registration required to sell on Amazon AE?

Hi all,

Looking for sellers with experience in the UAE market. I’ve got a company registered in the UK and I am currently selling on the Europe and US marketplaces. I am exploring Amazon UAE, but I am not clear on what the requirements are to be able to sell there as I’ve read very different opinions.

Can I operate there with my UK company and register for VAT as it’s mandatory for non resident companies, or do I need to register a new company there to be able to sell? It looks like it’s not very cheap to register a company there, so I would like to understand the options to avoid that and keep operating with my UK company if possible.
