My brand is registered with amazon. I have not registered for VAT yet however. I made an order for some goods from a supplier from China via DDP which is now on the way.

I had previously provided my companies ERORI, now the supplier is claiming he does not have to send me any Tax/Duty documents. I'm afraid once my goods arrive I wont be able to sell.

Anyone had a similar experience and how did you work around it.

I’ve been getting rejected by Amazon at the initial verification with no further explanation. After several attempts, I was able to get a reply after and Amazon told me that I have multiple accounts and that’s the reason, which is not correct but I’m not sure If I have the right understanding of what Amazon considers multiple account.

I have an account registered in the US with an established LLC. And I just recently set up a limited company in the UK. I tried to register and get through the verification process for the UK account but no success…

Anyone can give any ideas on how to approach this matter? I share the e-mail I received from Amazon and my answer.

I can list a product on Amazon even if I have a different ean code than the one in the Amazon catalog (initial listing)

I made a test purchase from another seller and it has the same EAN code as the one I want to get from the distributor. (so it also has a different EAN code than the one in the amazon catalog.)

I spoke with the manufacturer and he has no problem with selling the product on Amazon and has no exclusivity, as long as the product is also available in the distributor.

And the manufacturer has no idea about these EAN codes from Amazon. He mentioned that they do not belong to him.

I ask you because I saw that only one seller sells it and I don't want to have problems.

Is it possible for this seller to use other EAN codes to politicize the listing and remain alone on the listing? Isn't that against Amazon policy?
