Account Terminated?
Hi all
A few days ago I received a request for verification. Seems a few weeks back I didn’t change my settings on the Seller Account from when I converted from a Sole Trader to Limited Company. Anyway, I advised them I was now a Limited Company, sent through the UK Certificate of Incorporation, Register of Shareholders and advised them a/ where my stock was obtained, as they asked and who would benefit from the proceeds, to which I advised them that the Limited Company would. For good measure I sent a copy of my ID as well.
Anyway, today I’ve received this email out the blue;
"Hello from Amazon Selling Partner Support,
I understand that you need assistance during Verification process.
Your seller account is terminated and no further action can be taken.
If you choose to permanently close your account, Amazon cannot reactivate or reinstate closed accounts.
If you want to sell on Amazon in the future, you’ll need to sign up again at https://services.amazon.it.
Kind regards,"
Has anyone got the slightest idea what the problem is? They’ve provided a link to view my case details - but this link doesn’t work. They’d previously advised I’d have a few days to provide the details, or I wouldn’t be able to get any monies disbursed and two weeks after that, the account would be deactivated.
I’ve provided them what they need, and there’s no explanation what the issue is?
Thanks
Steve

So the company is not the beneficiary, the shareholders are. It seems most likely that something in your shareholders/beneficial owners response has triggered an issue - do any of the company owners or directors reside in or are citizens of an embargoed or disputed country/territory?

Hi Peter
No, both shareholder/directors are in the UK.
