Amazon FBA fulfillment fees
Hello everyone, today I've come to you with a very important issue regarding Amazon FBA fees. Without further delay, let's get right to the point. I'm currently new to Amazon and still trying to learn the ropes. I listed my first products on Amazon, and then an order came in. Normally, my product is priced at $16, and when I calculated, I should have around $7 left after fees. However, what I ended up receiving was only around $3.25. Now, my question is, where could I have gone wrong? Upon investigation, I found that only the FBA pick pack fee was around $10. Could I have listed incorrectly, or left some setting open, causing my costs to increase? Or are Amazon fees normally this high?

Pick and Pack $10, 15% commission on $16 is $2.40
So $16-$2.40-$10=$3.60
Plus the tax on your fees, so $3.25 seems correct

The product would either have to be smaller, or weigh less, or both.

For FBA, it's a flat rate fee based on the product weight and size. The shipping speed that Amazon picks to the customer doesn't change what you pay them to ship.
