100 characters when everyone else has 200
As we know each categories can have different rules on character numbers in listings. So, I’m starting to list my product in the same catagory as numerous other sellers. When I look at the title section it says maximum 100 characters, and no matter how many I put in, the software does indeed cut it off at 100. Now my problem starts when I check the other listings and they all have many more than 100 in the title section, Some up to 200 characters. I contacted seller support but they just said, you must stick to the 100. (Which wasn’t my question)… so any ideas how this could be happening ??? Thanks for help in advance

Possibly Amazon introduced the 100 character limit after those other products were listed, but if you are limited to 100 characters on your listings (I think I remember an announcement on those lines), you are stuck with it
