No Access to Registered Brand & TM, because of Brand Registry team Failures!!

I have two trademarks. Similar, but not the same. They're registered in brand registry, and are two seperate brands.

Recently, for some unknown reason, Amazon decided to 'link' the two trademarks together. This completely messed up my ability to manage my listings, as theyre under one brand, but are listed as a completely different brand.

(I wont bore you telling you about the dozens of emails to SS / Brand Registry to explain this, but when they finally got it...)

I was told, delete my trademark and reapply, then it will be able to go back to being its own brand.

I did. They connected them again.

Told to do it again. I did. They connected them again.

(Another few dozen emails to SS & Brand registry to TRY to get help before doing it again, eventually they got it...)

So i deleted my mark one more time.

Reapplied. And a month later I still havent had the mark approved. They are 'looking into it'.

At this point I have no rights. I am not connected to my mark or brand. I cannot do anything with my own listings. They have all, under that brand and mark, effectively become oprhaned from myself.

I have tried to send off emails, but i get nothing in response other than please be patient while we reasearch the issue.

This is beyond urgent as I need to maage my listings and my brand!! Beyond a joke with how long it has taken and not even approval in brand registry yet (it is a registered mark)

Anyone been through this or have any advise because I cant just wait indefinetly to regain access to my own listings!

One of the most recent is 11429797052 - this is ongoing with no action happening.

The original is 11418827682 - Here you'll see detailed info as the brands were merged repeatedly.

As stated, I need to manage my listings and brand so i need this resolved ASAP. The 2 brands should not be merged but registered seperately. You should be able to see everything in the case.

I am working with the stakeholder teams responsible in an email so updates may not be given yet on your cases.

I'll try to explain this without getting too technical. But we identified that the reason your brand keeps merging is due to the Preferred Display Name (PDN) on your pre registered brand shows your second brand name you are trying to separate.

PDNs are typically managed through the Universal Brand Catalog (UBC) system which handles validated brand entities and their display names across different locales.

Currently we are asking the UBC team to remove this PDN to first eliminate future merges to this brand. After that step, the team will work to unmerge the 2 brands and register them as separate entities.

Currently we are waiting on updates from the UBC team to remove the PDN. I've sent them another reminder this morning on the urgency so hopefully we will have updates by next week.

If only seller support were to respond like this, the whole selling on Amazon experience would be a dream, where sellers would be in the loop, with full understanding and as a result more patience and care... dare I say we would actually feel like a team.

I have understood everything you have said and am grateful for the insight. Fingers crossed this will be resolved this week, I will wait for any further details.

Seller Support is the first place sellers should go to for issue resolution, but if you are ever stuck or need more insights please come to forums. We're here for our sellers and will advocate on your behalf.

Some updates on this from this weekend.

The team removed the PDN that was attached to the pre enrolled brand and internal teams are working on splitting the 2 brands in the system now. There's 2 teams that work on this: one that removes the PDN and one that splits so apologies that this can't be done in one go and takes some back and fourth between teams.

I've requested the team to split the 2 brands and after that it should be good. Will let you know once I hear back from them!

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2026: FORMAL ESCALATION BREACHED - TECHNICAL REVERSION.

Following on from my previous posts, I am reporting a catastrophic failure of the "permanent" resolution promised by the Managing Director’s Escalation Department.

@Sandy_Amazon This is no longer a standard support issue. This is a recurring technical data corruption that your escalation team promised was fixed. Can you please get this to the Global Brand Registry Technical Lead? This cannot wait another 6 months.

Despite receiving a message in case ID 12042500632 on 26th Jan stating "We understand your concern about ensuring this brand split is permanent and will not revert in the future. We want to assure you that the technical team has completed the separation of your two brands at the database level, and this is intended to be a permanent resolution."

Less than one month later, this "permanent" fix has failed. The brands are again merged, I am unable to manage my products, and my Trademark rights are being blocked by Amazon’s own internal data corruption.

I am unable to edit or manage listings for these two distinct entities.

The technical merge prevents me from utilising Brand Registry tools to protect my unique brands.

I warned your team on 26 January that these brands had been split and merged several times previously. I specifically stated that I could not afford to go in "circular motions with ill-informed seller support." This is exactly what is happening again.

I am requesting that a senior technical lead from the Brand Registry Global team investigates why your "permanent database-level" fixes continue to revert. I need more than a temporary patch; I require a verified, stable separation of these Brand IDs that will survive system updates.

I have been dealing with this for nearly a year. I have received formal 'assurances' from the MD’s office that the brands were split at the database level, yet the error persists. While I would prefer to resolve this through Amazon's internal channels, as this has been ongoing for many months now, I am prepared to seek external legal counsel to protect my trademark rights and business interests if a permanent, stable resolution is not achieved immediately.

UPDATE FEBRUARY 2026: FORMAL ESCALATION BREACHED - TECHNICAL REVERSION.

Following on from my previous posts, I am reporting a catastrophic failure of the "permanent" resolution promised by the Managing Director’s Escalation Department.

@Sandy_Amazon This is no longer a standard support issue. This is a recurring technical data corruption that your escalation team promised was fixed. Can you please get this to the Global Brand Registry Technical Lead? This cannot wait another 6 months.

Despite receiving a message in case ID 12042500632 on 26th Jan stating "We understand your concern about ensuring this brand split is permanent and will not revert in the future. We want to assure you that the technical team has completed the separation of your two brands at the database level, and this is intended to be a permanent resolution."

Less than one month later, this "permanent" fix has failed. The brands are again merged, I am unable to manage my products, and my Trademark rights are being blocked by Amazon’s own internal data corruption.

I am unable to edit or manage listings for these two distinct entities.

The technical merge prevents me from utilising Brand Registry tools to protect my unique brands.

I warned your team on 26 January that these brands had been split and merged several times previously. I specifically stated that I could not afford to go in "circular motions with ill-informed seller support." This is exactly what is happening again.

I am requesting that a senior technical lead from the Brand Registry Global team investigates why your "permanent database-level" fixes continue to revert. I need more than a temporary patch; I require a verified, stable separation of these Brand IDs that will survive system updates.

I have been dealing with this for nearly a year. I have received formal 'assurances' from the MD’s office that the brands were split at the database level, yet the error persists. While I would prefer to resolve this through Amazon's internal channels, as this has been ongoing for many months now, I am prepared to seek external legal counsel to protect my trademark rights and business interests if a permanent, stable resolution is not achieved immediately.
