Products being delivered with no outer packaging and then damaged
Over the past 5 months I have had feedback that ‘some’ of my products are being delivered with no outer carton, just the unit with the label stuck to the box, and arriving damaged.
Has this happened to anyone else? How would you/have you approached this with Amazon?
As 5 months ago they told me that this was an isolated issue and has been resolved.

They’ve been doing it for a while now to reduce packaging - which is ironic as some items still get delivered in a box 10 times its size with half a tree as packing.
Customer needs to tick a box at the checkout where they warn that the order may be delivered without any outer packaging.

There is nothing you can do about this. Amazon don’t have an option where you can force it to be sent out in Amazon Packaging. The customer can select this when they checkout but frankly the option is not very visible.
It was bad at Christmas time. A lot of the clothing items I sell are in poly bags (either bagged by Me or the Manufacturer). People complain that they are Christmas presents and don’t want other people seeing what they have brought.
The only advice really is to assume that Amazon will send out your box with no outer packaging and for you to put an outer box on it to protect it. But of course this comes with more labour and cost for you.
