Capacity Limit Reduced Below Current Usage Despite Excellent Performance Metrics
My FBA storage capacity has been reduced without warning to below my current active usage, effectively locking my account from sending more inventory, even though I’ve maintained excellent performance metrics:
Storage utilization ratio: 9.1 weeks
Excess inventory: 1.98% (2 SKUs, 270 units)
In-stock rate: 96.96%
Sell-through: 1.75
Stranded inventory: 0%
As of May 1st, my total usage is 336.20 cubic feet, but Amazon has reduced my capacity limit to 259.56 cubic feet. Even worse, I see further reductions projected:
June: 210.06 cu ft
July: 237.42 cu ft
There’s been no performance degradation on my end to justify this. Why is my capacity limit being dropped below current usage? This contradicts what Amazon has stated about rewarding healthy inventory practices. I'm now penalized for inventory that I already sent under previous limits.

I thin they are trying to push the larger volume sellers to their AWD program.
