Gated products
Please can i get some advice about applying to sell a gated product (toys) on Amazon. I dont have the product listed as yet and am unsure of the procedure. When following instructions it says to identify your product but as it is not on Amazon yet, do I just choose a similar product? TIA

No you don’t choose a similar product.
You really need the product in front of you and list it with the barcode on the product. You may need to create a new listing if the product is not on Amazon.
To be ungated you often need an invoice showing that you have brought at least 10 units. However you won’t know if you are gated until you try to list the product.
You should note even with an invoice ungating is not guaranteed.

Hello Winston. I would really like to sell toys. I haven’t ordered yet as I don’t know if I’ll be able to sell them on Amazon which is what I would like to do. The product I have chosen is a simple kiddies 8 note xylophone. Could you please advise me whst to do?
