Help with selling e-cigarettes - Do I need to submit a selling application? Am I in the wrong category?
Hi, I am relatively new seller on amazon and have recently started selling e-cigarettes / vape pens.
After selling about ten units my listing was deactivated, stating that I needed approval to sell “Smoking Cessation products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectable conditions.” This is my first time being asked to submit an application to sell an item and I have a few questions.

My listing is for an item which contains no nicotine. Is it possible that the e-cig I am selling has been put in the wrong sub-category, “smoking cessation,” and I could submit a request to move it to a different sub-category which doesn’t require approval?

If I manage to get approval for one item in the “smoking cessation” category does this mean I can list as many products as I want in that category or do I have to get approval for each new item?

In order to gain approval I need to submit “at least 1 purchase invoice for products from a manufacturer or distributor.” Does this invoice have to be for the same item I am listing or can it be slightly different I.e a different brand of e-cigarette? And what form must this invoice be in, will amazon accept an invoice from a supplier on Alibaba?
I would really appreciate any responses / answers. Trying to navigate amazons complex rules and listings regulations can be very overwhelming for a new seller.

I have almost the same issue as you do, but I could not get approval from the very beginning. I have listed e-cigarettes and liquids. Then, I got a message from Amazon that I should apply for the Smoking Cessation category. I have sent required documents to Amazon, but then (for more than month) they just tell me that I will get an update in 2-3 days and then nothing!
Would really appreciate if you tell me about your experience.
