Products are charged different referral fees to the Category products are in

I am a bit lost with all of amazons pages and processes etc.

I have multiple products that i have selected to be in the correct category, but I have noticed that Amazon is placing a higher referral fee category for those items.

As images show. I have a pair of medical scissors, that should be in the first aid category.

On the product page it shows in the category "Medication & Treatments›First Aid›Scissors" , but above that, it shows the DIY & Tools navigation Bar.

Then looking at the fees, the referral fee is substantially higher than it should be, as the fee is stated as Tools & Home Improvement.

I feel like i'm going nuts and getting nowhere.. is there something else i can change or edit to correct this please as deaf ears is all Amazon offers?

You will get nowhere with Amazon, I've tried on numerous items.

They get away with overcharging as probably never chalenged legally, as we all don't want to lose selling on Amazon.

Amazon search words, probably scizzors in this case and they put in tools.

We had before something said Headphone socket within the overall title, so rather than being say a hifi with headphone socket, which as a hifi should be around 7% commission, that doubled it as headphones are charged at that higher just over 15% rate.

Then when raised to fix the issue, just get told brand owners fault, so tough, they are charging at over twice the commision and on a £200 item a lot extra profit to Amazon.

If your own listing, play with words, as some may then charge a lower cost, as long as the node is a lower rate (you may lose some orders though, so add to Buyer price is the only way around it).
