Veeqo and RM discounts
I currently ship directly through RM with an OBA account, my pricing with RM is based on volumes. I’am considering using Veeqo as inventory control across marketplaces They tell me it is free to use IF i push 50% of my shipping through Veeqo.
They say Veeqo is free because they benefit from shipping volume passed to theyre partner shipping carriers.
Why would RM give me a discount and then give Veeqo a discount as well, or would I only get the future volume discount on the 50% of my orders shipped directly VIA RM and Veeqo would get the other 50% in the form of commission?

There are various levels for discounts so you maybe benefitting from the 250+ parcels per manifest
They maybe benefitting from the 10000+ per manifest if lots are using it
Going forward, you would only get the discount per manifest so if you have 249 orders manifested on oba and 249 orders manifested on veeqo , you wouldn’t get the 250+ orders discount on either

We’ve been looking into Veeqo and my impression was that you have to register your RM account with Veeqo so I assumed that any volume discounts you get would still apply.
Veeqo is now owned by Amazon so I guess they are pushing for you to use ‘buy shipping’ via Veeqo.

The theory is that the system with Veeqo will work the same as Buy Shipping does between Amazon and Royal Mail (I believe Amazon have bought Veeqo, so it makes sense to work that way) in that you get priced at your agreed rate through your Royal Mail account (you’re certainly billed that way) and Veeqo get a cut because by offering the label buying service they’re encouraging their users to use RM as a courier.
