Buyer returned half of order but SAFE T Claim denied
A buyer purchased 2 of one item from me and then opened a return. The refund at first scan was applied, I received the package but it only contained one of the 2 items sent to them. I opened a Safe T claim with all necessary photos and explained the issue but was denied. I submitted appeal after appeal further explaining the return and providing more photos but they were all denied. The Safe t claim is now closed, is there anything I can do to get the claim opened with a fresh pair of eyes?

This has happened to us before a couple times and we were never able to win a SafeT claim either. The return at first scan really kills it bc now you cant even issue a partial refund.

When safe-t claim/appeal is denied. Amazon provides the reason.
What was the reason for the denial?

just happened to me. 2 pack. one item returned. EXCEPT in my case, the buyer mentioned on the RETURN REQUEST.....ONE ITEM DEFECTIVE. so it was obvious she would only be returning one item. was DENIED. did appeal and haven't head anything in 5 days. I doubt I will hear back. I think all returns are AUTO-AUTHORIZED RIGHT? and auto authorization refunds are always 100 percent right? now I question whether I want to be selling items in pack or cases anymore. I did that to save on shipping costs, give the buyer a better PER ITEM PRICE and sell high volume items faster. but, it looks to me like if a buyer purchases a 12 pack of something and sends one back, they will probably end up getting the entire case for free. all they will need to do is file a return request that is auto authorized and then just return ONE ITEM. that would trigger the 100 percent refund right?
BY THE WAY, THE REASON FOR THE RETURN:
"The issue you reported is not covered by the Prepaid Returns for Seller Fulfilled Order program."
