UK Seller sending stock shipments to USA FBA fulfillment centres. How to...
Hi all,
I am a newbie in the USA market. I sell in the UK and ship my stock into the UK warehouses easy enough with Amazons 'send to Amazon'.
My question, when sending stock from the UK to the USA FBA centres, is there anything different I have to do. Information is a little sketchy. I will use Amazons 'send to amazon' and will use the UPS partner although I am sure this is way overpriced (but will do to get started).
So is there anything I need to do extra other than go through the 'send to Amazon' process and ship it off? My accountant said to hold off till I get an EIN number, which I have now but can't find where to input this into the USA seller central (I have made another post for this question).
So if there is any UK sellers on here that send stock to USA FBA centres. Any advise or a step by step if possible would be SO HELPFUL to make sure I am doing it all correctly.

Based on the information you provided it sounds like you are well on your way! You are correct in that you will use the Send to Amazon workflow to ship your inventory to an FC in the USA. I was able to find this Amazon page on expanding from EU to North America, and it contains several FAQs and requirements you may want to review to ensure you're covered. I haven't seen any threads in the forums recently from UK sellers, but there are some historical threads on our previous platform that detail sellers who were in your position (and may shed some additional light).
