Listing a product with GTIN exemption, then error, now selling application? Anyone help please?

Hi

I have GTIN exemption in the Baby Products category, and requested it for Home and Kitchen. I was approved for this also. I went to list something yesterday in the Home and Kitchen and it came back with an error code. I opened a case and they said I had to send screenshots and photos of products, I did this, but I already did it for the exemption request anyway.

Now this morning I have a Selling Application on my Seller Central page, I don’t know if I’ve done this trying to sort it out and clicking links or if they have put it there!

I am not very technical but I was already approved for the exemption. Can anyone help at all please?

I have so much to list on Amazon but it just seems so hard now, I have sold on Amazon for around 15 years or more and things just don’t seem to work like they used to. I’m having trouble with the save and finish button and now this, I didn’t get to see if the save and finish button would work for this before the error came up. I wanted to list these items to send them in for FBA and set a day aside yesterday to try and sort all this but instead I go around in circles getting nowhere.

are you trying to list them as your Brand Name or generic ?

Have you already applied for Brand Approval for your Brand Name as well as the GTIN exemption and did you request Home and Kitchen for both the GTIN exemption and the Brand Approval ?

Lots of brands seem to need approval for new listings. Amazon are really cracking down on who can list items.

I have been through the brand approval to list new ASINS several times this year. All for brands that I have listed in the past. It is relatively straight forward to get approval if you have a LOA or can provide all the photos that they require.
