Counterfeit with test buy claim from a suspicious rights owner

We received this Counterfeit with test buy claim from a suspicious rights owner. It is obvious that the "rights owner" is a fake one

These are the rights owner’s contact details:

ZEBRA

dpyvgtogber17049 @ hotmail.com

Is there a way we report this suspicious rights owner to Amazon?

To my knowledge it is impossible for it to be an imposter as this complaint can only be filed from within the Brand Registry. If they hold the Brand Registry keys, they have previously proven to Amazon that they are legitimate.

Unfortunately, its legit. They just have an unbelievably basic email/name.

I imagine they just do not want anyone to know who is submitting these claims. I would then assume that this brand does not want others selling their brand on AMZ.

Hi @Seller_hHnHo43yy5FLu,

Thank you for your post. I understand you are dealing with a counterfeit without a test buy violation and have concerns about the rights owner.

"We received this Counterfeit with test buy claim"

For these kinds of violations, our team will need to verify item in question. With in mind, typically invoices are going to be required. These documents will need to meet our requirements. You can find further information about our document standards here.

"Is there a way we report this suspicious rights owner to Amazon?"

You can use the "Report Abuse" button, however since the information came from our team would have already been made aware of this rights owner and will have most likely deemed this to be a valid complaint. My recommendation here would be to follow our standard appeal path in an attempt to remove the violation. I would then recommend documenting everything you can regarding this rights owner both with this violation and future violations while pursuing the reinstatement of your listing. If you have any kind of documentation that is relevant to your appeal about this rights owner, please feel free to share that in your appeal along with the invoices that are typically required for this kind of violation. Please keep in mind that even if you provide information about this rights owner we cannot guarantee that action will be taken, and the results of any investigation will not be disclosed.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.

Regards,

Troy
