Account Deactivation Risk if cancel all 3 FBM orders

Hello,

We sell only via FBA. We had some stock in our garage and created FBM listing to be sold in the UK only. But realised this FBM listing was active in EU as well after got 2 orders from Germany and 1 from France. So without realizing we have to maintain cancellation rate of 2.5% if self-fulfil orders, we cancelled all those 3 orders and deactivated the FBM listings. Now I have read the policy and worried that Amazon may penalize us or even deactivate the account. We don’t normally sell via FBM so didn’t know the rule. What are our chances of getting deactivated and in case we do what we need to do to get account back? Please help!

Regards,

Hello @anon59628815 ,

I’m Abella from Amazon, here to assist you.

I understand that you are concerned about your pre fulfillment cancellation rate.

Please be informed that amazon has several policies, performance metrics where our selling partners are obliged to keep their accounts as per these targets.

The Cancellation Rate (CR) is all seller-cancelled orders as a percentage of total orders during a given 7-day time period. CR only applies to seller-fulfilled orders.

Our policy is that sellers maintain a CR under 2.5% in order to sell on Amazon. Cancellation Rate above 2.5% may result in account deactivation.

This metric includes all order cancellations initiated by the seller, with the exception of those that were requested by the customer using the order-cancellation options in their Amazon account. Pending orders that are cancelled by the customer directly on Amazon are not included.

Please do refer Cancellation rate policy for further assistance.

Note: We would request you to look at your cancelled orders and make a plan to get back on track by identifying the reason behind cancelling order and how will you ensure or what plan would you put so that these orders being cancelled are being taken care and avoided in the future.

If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we or any of the sellers on forum can help you.

Regards,

Abella.
