Can you resinstate a closed listing?
Been completely stupid and accidentally Closed a listing
It was our listing for a personalised item so were the only seller and it was our own EAN number
Is there anyway I can reinstate this listing? It has loads of good reviews and at the top of searches so although I can just relist it I was hoping to get the original back

Yes my next plan is to try creating a new listing using the original ASIN.
When you type the ASIN into Google it comes up but when click on the link you get the message in Amazon that there is no product.

If closed yes, if deleted sort of. If deleted if you go to your seller central page>catalogue>add products and enter your EAN and this should find the product and you can click add your or similar. Once you’ve got it back in your active inventory have a look at it as you may find that all the bullet points and description has been lost, as will key words so you’ll probably have to reinstate these.
If just closed you just hit relist, but I’m assuming you meant deleted?

I hit ‘Close Listing’ by accident - tablet froze up and as I was hastily pressing the screen !
I have entered the EAN and the ASIN in Add a Product but both are coming up as not recognised

If you just closed it you should be able to see it in your inactive inventory and relist. If you can’t the only reason I can think of is it’s because of the category? I haven’t come across this so sorry. Hopefully someone else can help.

If you just closed it then it should be listed in your inactive inventory with zero quantity.
To relist you can just change the zero to 1 or more.
As Isabella said if you deleted it then that is different - someone will know what to do I am sure.

Yes its completely gone - if you search the ASIN in my inventory its not there - likewise if you type it into Amazon its completely gone
Reading help pages I think its because we were the only sellers
I have contacted seller support to see if they can do it their end - not hopeful though !

Have you tried re-creating it with the same asin just to see if the system can latch onto it? Don’t know that it will but maybe worth a try?

Try searching the ASIN on Google there may still be a link to it even if cached.
This will be handy for descriptions and any bullet points if you need to recreate it.
Also, if deleted instead of closed (under inactive) you may have to wait up to 24hrs for it to become available again.

Can you see a tiny green triangle next to the link in google? if you hover over it, it says “cached” If so, click on the green triangle.

Typed the ASIN into Google and found it on Amazon.de so I created a new product using the ASIN and it’s seem to have found it. The pictures were there but I’ve had to redo description and search words which s fine and the reviews are there as well so fingers crossed

Hi How to find the product a few ways around this is
- go to add a product (do not go to amazon main page to find this is for customers only)then enter the barcode or asin if this fails
- try creating a new product listing, as you start entering details amazon will pick the old listing up with the barcode so you can just add stock
Hope this helps
