How to report a counterfeit order?

I'm the manufacturer and brand owner on my listings. A customer just made me aware of a purchase she made from our branded listing in the UK, but unfortunately it's a counterfeit as these products are CUSTOM made to order, so wholesale/distributors are impossible (the product is made only AFTER the order is placed), and we have never sold in the UK before.

When I go into Report A Violation (RAV) tool the options for trademark --> "A product is counterfeit" is greyed out, and is noted because it says I don't have a UK trademark.

None of the other RAV options seem to fit. So how do I report this? I have a 'global' brand registry, and am trademark pending in the USA. But that shouldn't stop me from reporting a verified counterfeit purchase.... or does it?

Hello @Seller_yoBaUhzkFJuPI,

this is Sarah from Amazon and I'm happy to assist you.

Did you manage to submit the report?

Sharing with you Report intellectual property infringements help page.

The Report a Violation tool covers three types of intellectual property violations: copyright infringement, patent infringement, and trademark infringement. Review the guidelines below to learn more about each, as it’s important to know which one to select to report correctly.

Trademark infringement

  • Only trademarks added to your Brand Registry account and those enforceable in the jurisdiction of the selected store (for example, United States Patent and Trademark Office (USTPO) for amazon.com) can be selected. If you don’t see a specific trademark in the drop-down menu, ensure that you’ve selected content in the relevant store. You can also contact the trademark office to check if the trademark has expired or been declined.

Regards,

Sarah.
