Frozen Funds and VAT Issue - UK
I am reaching out to you as a last resort after trying all possible ways to contact Amazon UK without success.
Emails remain unanswered.
Cases are being closed without resolution.
It seems the issue is being passed from one person to another, and no one is truly taking responsibility.
Amazon has held the funds for over a year.
We have sufficient balance available and have requested multiple times for Amazon to deduct the debt from the available funds, but there has been no response.
Numerous cases have been opened, and all were closed without resolution.
The most recent case ID: 10650375872.
I have also reached out via email to:
mdri-exec-escalations@amazon.co.uk
merchant-balance@amazon.com
Unfortunately, there has been no response.
This situation is extremely frustrating and is significantly impacting our business and our ability to replenish inventory.
We would greatly appreciate any assistance to resolve this matter.

Have you tried emailing the MD - managingdirector@amazon.co.uk ? You could also try Amazon mediation. There is potentially a cost, but reading on here, many are resolved without any fees.

I don’t think Amazon can use your available funds due to you to pay outstanding vat dues - legal implications I believe. The debt has to be cleared to activate your account which in turn will release your monies due to you.
I can’t recall any poster coming back to the forums to say this has actually happened despite Amazon initially offering it to some…..unless anyone knows differently……
