How to keep a separation of personal/business accounts
Hi,
First day at school today, and I don’t want to make any silly mistakes!
I was logged into my personal Amazon ‘shopping’ account when I clicked on ‘Start Selling’, and so it auto-populated my email address etc as I began to create the ‘selling’ account.
Now, I’m all signed up,and I would like to change the email on my ‘seller’ account to a business email address, while still keeping my personal email attached to my ‘shopping’ account.
I can see a couple of different places within the ‘settings’ that give you the option to change the email, but it isn’t clear if I am changing all instances on this account, but not on the other account…!
I have also attempted to change it from the ‘login details’ section, but kept getting an error message. I do hope I haven’t broken anything already.
Any help would be much appreciated…
Thanks

I believe that your buyer account’s registration e-mail address is the primary e-mail address for your seller account as well.
I don’t think you would be able to have a different login for each part of your account. However, you can set additional login e-mail addresses in the User Permissions.

If the buyer account and the seller account are linked as yours are, I don’t think you can’t change the email address on just one of them.
I’ve got a completely separate buyer account to my seller account as they’re using different email addresses. I did clear it with seller support first though
