SNL - Shipment Receive Process

This is our first SNL shipment which has been checked in and received, however the update states
“Amazon will confirm the receipt of all units in your shipment on or before 4 Mar 2023”
Why is there such a delay?

My oversize shipment which was checked in and all units received today states " Amazon will confirm the receipt of all units in your shipment on or before 17 Mar 2023"
It’s because of units being sent around the country after receipt but I agree, why such a delay?

thats the time frame they give to have all units received and the option to reconcile if necessary.
In my experience, it never takes that long for units to be received but that it the date the shipment is closed
