I work as a school teacher. I can’t arrange pick up and delivery!!! Is there anywhere I can go and drop off?

I priced this book half of what others are pricing it at but judging on a book I received today that is in terrible condition and was rated as good my book is probably better than all of those listed. What can I do? I had no idea the postage would be so much.

Would it be awful to cancel the sale and relist adding £20 on, it would still be listed as £30 cheaper than everyone else?

They also have only given a first name. Can you imagine if I’ve paid all of this for postage??

Haven’t we already decided the £13.40 is not the cheapest option and that there are other options than just cancelling? Especially if you are a low-volume seller cancellation can be a bad idea.
I think the largest books i’ve ever sold were 33 x 25 x 5, weighed 3.3kg each and they were sent for a lot more reasonable price, even though they were FBA.

I sent a parcel with Royal Mail today. Maximum small parcels dimensions ( 45cm x 35cm x 16cm ) and weighed 3.6kg. When I did the manifest it cost £8.79. I sent it 2nd class.
As others have said, I also checked Hermes which was around £5 (can’t remember exact) , but I chose not to send it with them as my experience of ‘handle with care’ items is not the best.
So your £13.50 price is definitely not the cheapest and if you buy online you should pay the £8.79

Bit late to the discussion, but DPD is £6.47 (inc VAT) if you drop off at a collection point (you can see them before you book). Up to 20kg. You don’t need a printer either. We use them ocassionally for heavier items and have found the service very good.

There are services like parcelmonkey and parcel2go that do comparison prices. You will find a lot cheaper on there and they can collect the parcel.
