Anyone else having issues with 'sort by avg customer review' - weird results?

Just wondering if anyone else had seen any weird search results coming up when they filter by average customer review. One of my products is a baby monitor, I can’t compete on price with many of the Chinese sellers but I can compete on customer service and so my reviews are great. Normally when you do a search on video baby monitors and filter by average customer review we rank very highly, usually in the top 5, but a couple of weeks ago we disappeared - nowhere to be seen (still ranking on page one without the avg customer review filter so I know it’s not a problem with keywords etc) but it wasn’t just us - several others who have 4.5 or more stars don’t appear either in fact the top 20 results consist of 4 star products (some 3.5) or where there is a 5 star one it’s only got a handful of reviews whereas we and the other usual high rankers have hundreds of good reviews. I’ve contacted seller support but as expected they couldn’t help! My sales have plummeted.
Any insights?
Thanks
Lottie.
PS I’ll try to add a screenshot - not sure it’ll work

Yeah, I’ve had the same thing with my products (gardening). Has been like that for the last month, quite annoying when I know I’m at the top.

Hi Carol’s books I’d rather not put it here if you don’t mind, I was just wondering if other people had seen just 4 star reviewed products coming to the top. So for example if you do a search in Baby for ‘video baby monitor’ ignore the sponsored products and there should be several on page one with a couple hundred reviews and scoring at least 4.5 stars (we score 4.7 last time I checked) then if you do a sort by avg customer review, the ones that come to the top are not as highly rated - they have fewer reviews and a lower overall score. I have noticed that most of them are either BT or sold by Amazon …hmmmm I wonder if there is a connection?
